Gallery Space: Crane Game
On a clandestine block on the water in Brooklyn a new format for an art gallery was created: 35 artists were presented as a salon-style group, hanging from a crane. The massive structure slowly turned in the wind, establishing the cul-se-sac in which it was housed as an active and valuable space within the urban plan. A virtual reality helmet with a camera on a pole was provided to perform live first-person surveillance of the tall group.
